The Arabic Program is celebrating some remarkable success stories! We’re incredibly proud of our former students who have taken the next step to become Arabic Language Tutors. They’re now helping to spread the Arabic language and support their fellow learners right here in the program.
But the pride doesn’t stop there! These dedicated tutors were recently able to share their knowledge with a wider audience: parents. During a special Family Weekend event hosted by the Yale Center for Language Study (CLCS), our tutors played a vital role in passing on the gift of the Arabic language to the community’s families.

CLS 2025 Yale Family Weekend Event
Over the weekend, the CLS hosted a Yale Family Weekend event that gave Yale Families and Students the opportunity to learn and explore five different languages—Italian, Swahili, Cherokee, Vietnamese, and Arabic—through mini-lessons taught by language tutors. We thank everyone who attended and helped out with the event!
